Give Yourself a Neck Lift Without Surgery Through Neck Exercises

On March 17, 2011, in Beauty, Fashion, by GuestPoster

Massaging or molding treatments together with the use of brisk astringents are important steps to eliminating a flabby neck-line or double chin; however, you should also make sure to concentrate on performing face exercises. Facial exercises are your best option in terms of getting an all-natural facial lift. How to remove dark circles under eyes and puffy eye bags, how to eliminate wrinkles and expression lines on the face, how to address sagging and drooping of the facial skin – all of these concerns can be remedied with regular performance of facial exercises.

Although you may feel rather skeptical with regards to the effectiveness of facial workouts, it is highly suggested that you practice them first. Try doing them regularly for a few weeks and not for long, you will surely find yourself settling down and performing them in earnest since you will notice a considerable improvement in the look and feel of your face.

For those of you who are having problems with sagging and wrinkling of the neck, here are a few examples of exercises for the neck that you can perform regularly to beautify it;

Stand with your head straight, shoulders dropped and chest high. Slowly turn your chin over your right shoulder, stretching your neck skin all the way. Next, slowly turn towards your left shoulder and again, do so as far back as you possibly can. Repeat for 5 times in every direction.

Here is another great neck exercise for you to try. Slump your chin onto your chest as if your head is too heavy to sustain. Slowly move your head back up and then tilt it as far backwards as it can go. Repeat the entire cycle for 5 – 10 times.

Drop your head backwards and then slowly begin opening and then closing your mouth. Do this 10 times.

Remember to practice these exercises very slowly. The steady and deliberate pull on your muscles is what will strengthen as well as reinstate their elasticity.

Pore Minimizing Tips and Tricks

What is the condition of your skin currently? Does the makeup you apply disappear into your pores? Do you try to avoid situations that may bring a person closer to your face? Nobody ever notices the pores on your face as you may think or feel. We have listed some of the pore minimizing tips below:

We can go over what exactly causes large pores just before we list the tips. Large pores are caused by dead skin cells and oil that are able to find their way through the skin by stretching it. There is no permanent treatment for the large pores but there are temporal methods that are used to reduce the pores into smaller sizes.

Keep your face clean. Never forget to keep your face as can as possible for this is the starting point of it all. Wash your face on a regular basis with a gentle cleanser that contains the Retina-A which will help to clean and reduce the size of the pores. Before going to bed, always make sure that you clean your face and use a pore refining toner any time that you wash your face.
Rinse your face with cold water as it will help in closing up the pores. People with serious cases of large pores can get pore-refining products from the market that correctly suite their skin type. A popular product is Clinique Pore Minimizer although there are many more products in the market that you can also use. Neutrogena make the top pore minimizing products in the market.

Add plenty of fruits and vegetables to your diet and reduce your oil and fat intake. On top of this, make sure you avoid fried foods at all costs. A healthy diet helps to build up a healthy skin. Also use a foundation that is oil-free. The best pore minimizing products come from Burts Bees, Neutrogena and Clinique.

Thoughts On Real Ruby Jewelry

On February 23, 2011, in Beauty, Fashion, by GuestPoster

Anyone who is buying more than costume jewelry is very likely to be picky about just what it is they are putting into their jewelry box, on their fingers, hang from around their neck or dangle from their ears. Jewelry, real jewelry is not only something to use when to complement your make up, it is sometimes more than accessory. If you are a jewelry aficionado you love the look and feel of real ruby jewelry. Most real jewelry is great to look at. Diamonds with their icy glitter and emeralds with their cool green glow. But real ruby jewelry is another matter. This jewelry makes you feel warm, then hot, it arouses something primal in us that no other jewelry does.

And it is not the price tag that makes real ruby jewelry so attractive, although that is one of its draws. Ruby jewelry is one of the most flexible of gems in both price range and color selection. You can spend thousands of dollars on an untreated gem of pure color or hundreds on a slightly off color treated gem. You can even use synthetic rubies, or cubic zirconium, and save even more money. Because rubies get their color from the amount of chromium they have in them and some regions have more chromium in them then others do, the best rubies come from Asia. The further you get from Burma, in any direction, the less red the rubies are until a rare red ruby is almost never found.

If you are buying rubies for an investment you should stick to untreated rubies. These rubies are very expensive and rare however. If the price tag is something you want to fit into a budget then off color treated rubies are the ticket. These rubies look just as untreated rubies.
